After last weeks unboxing video, I got around to setting up my new Ledger Nano S.  The provided USB cable is a bit of a tight fit into the unit, and possibly it is because it is new.  The two small buttons on the side of the device that you use to navigate the small screen prompts are a bit of a challenge.

I did get the unit set up and have my key safely tucked away.  The Ledger Nano S can hold a plethora of cryptocurrencies.  However, I did find that mine will keep only three at a time.  So, choose wisely.

The Ledger Nano S came to the market in June of 2016.  Since that time about 1.4 million have been purchased.  Now, at the end of 2018, the device is relatively new and has yet to gain mass adoption. 

Posted on Instagram stories, are two short videos of my first use of our new snowblower.  For the first use, I’m impressed.  We received about 3-4” of snow.  It was light and fluffy, and the snowblower was up to the task.  Now to get the city not to deposit 12-18” of snow at the end of our drive when they plow our dead end street.

I had a brief conversation with someone regarding cryptocurrencies and purchasing of various currencies.  The individual was promoting that they would only purchase one type of cryptocurrency and disregard all the others.  I asked why in the purchase of any financial instrument, you would buy one type.  I also asked why as an investor/purchaser you wouldn’t spread your investment money around to various kinds of investments.  No answer was forthcoming.

It’s cold enough here that we made a big pot of chicken vegetable soup to help warm the night.

We ate out for our Thanksgiving Dinner.  A local place that came highly recommended, and those who have eaten there rave about the food.  Our expectations were very high, and we came away disappointed. 

I ordered an item sent from suburban Chicago on the 19th of November.  My receipt shows that the article shipped USPS Priority (2-5 Day) delivery.  USPS tracking is useless.  (see the attached.)  In tracking the package, it appears from the USPS updates that the item is taking a scenic tour through Wisconsin on it’s way to me. Should the item arrive tomorrow, I’m not confident in that occurring; it will be 2-5 days late in delivery.
